‘We’re Good To Go’ scheme launched
VisitBritain’s new scheme is aimed at reassuring tourists that attactions and vehicles meet the current government standards for reducing covid-19 transmission
VisitBritain has set up a ‘We’re Good To Go’ covid healthcheck scheme which can be used by tourism businesses including coach operators to reassure customers.
The scheme uses government guidance for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, to present a checklist of measures required to avoid virus transmission and notifies the operator of any changes to guidance so vehicles and waiting rooms can be kept updated to the latest guidance. There is also a call-handling service to support business.
The scheme includes use of a ‘We’re Good To Go’ logo to display and assessors from VisitBritain will perform random spot-checks to ensure members of the scheme are meeting the standards in place.
