New Stagecoach West interim-MD named

After the announcement that Rachel Geliamassi is leaving her MD role at Stagecoach West to join the Great Western Railway, an interim-MD for the company has been announced.

Elisabeth Tasker is taking up the role of MD on an interim basis.

Sam Greer, Chief Operating Officer for Stagecoach, said: “I would like to thank Rachel for her outstanding contribution and leadership during her time as Managing Director for Stagecoach West.

“We are also delighted to confirm that Elisabeth Tasker has been appointed to the role of Managing Director for West on an interim basis. Elisabeth previously held the role of Managing Director for our Manchester Operating Company and look forward to working with her to develop and drive the business whilst continuing to engage our teams.”

Elisabeth Tasker retired from managing Stagecoach’s Manchester operations after 20 years’ service in the bus industry in 2020.
