On completion of the course candidates will have obtained a Level 3 approved qualification, demonstrating they have the core knowledge and skills to work safely around and maintain these vehicles as well as the skills and knowledge to remove and replace high voltage components. The course will consist of an online exam (level 2) on day 2 and practical assessments (level 3) on day 3.
“Many of our customers are now seeing electrified vehicles coming into their fleets” – Sam Law, Brand and Project Manager
Sam Law, Brand and Project Manager, said: “Many of our customers are now seeing electrified vehicles coming into their fleets and so are looking for training that not only meets their duty or care but also upskills their staff, ensuring they are fully qualified to work on these types of vehicles.
“With a shortage of electric/hybrid vehicle qualified workshop staff, Lloyd Morgan Group are delighted to be able to offer this training to help bridge the skills gap this course complements the Level 1 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness course that we have been delivering successfully for a while now. Level 1 is aimed at all staff who are in contact with electrified vehicles, whereas the Level 2 & 3 course is designed specifically for HGV and PSV engineers and workshop staff.”
