Irizar i6 pair helps Maynes form Legacy

Maynes of Buckie has taken delivery of two new Irizar Integral i6 coaches. Resplendent in an ‘obsidian black’ livery, the pair are for use on the operator’s new Legacy brand.

The coaches feature an economical DAFs MX11 27kw, OBD-E Euro VI engine, with an output of 367hp, combined with ZF’s TraXon 12-speed semi-automatic gearbox.

The 10.8m, 49-seat coaches, feature as part of a new range of high-specification vehicles designed to offer an unrivalled travel experience to Maynes clients and pays homage to the company’s rich heritage.

Kevin Maynes, Company Director of Maynes of Buckie, said: “We strategically ordered and tailored these two Irizars to fit into the brand as they were designed to be wholly custom designed to be used for our brand and our customers’ requirements. We already have 2 2022 full-size Irizars and the return order for these was a simple choice and one that we made with ease.”
