Honk for Hope Blackpool rally planned
Honk for Hope UK continues to gain pace, with a Blackpool version of the rally set to take place.
The original Honk for Hope UK event saw operators parade vehicles along the A1 in the north east. The campaign hopes to raise awareness of the damaging effects the coronavirus lockdown has had on the UK’s coach industry.
The latest rally in Blackpool is scheduled for Tuesday 14 July. Operators have already shown interest in taking part in the event. All convoys taking part are planned to converge at 11am on the M5. It is due to travel down the seaside town’s promenade.
Details on meeting points and further information on the demonstration can be found here.
Plans for further convoys in other parts of the country, including London and Wales, are also planned.
