Construction underway for Pelican parts warehouse extension

Work has commenced on site to increase the size of Pelican Bus + Coach’s National Parts Distribution Centre.

The construction work was inspected by Jack Li, CEO of Yutong Europe, on his recent visit to the UK. When completed, the extension will increase the size of the building to a substantial 25,000 sq. ft, significantly enhancing Pelican’s capacity and allowing up to £8.5m worth of stock, specifically for Yutong vehicles, to be carried.

Mr Li expressed his satisfaction with the progress and reiterated Yutong’s commitment to supporting Pelican in ensuring that the highest standards of service and parts availability are maintained for Yutong operators in the UK and Ireland.

This expansion is another key milestone in Pelican’s strategic growth plan, reinforcing their position as a crucial partner for Yutong in the UK. Work is due to start next month on an office expansion at the Castleford showroom.
