Pelican delivers 1,000th Yutong

Pelican Bus and Coach has delivered its 1,000th Yutong into the UK.

The 1,000th vehicle is a Yutong E12 that went to Transdev Airport Services over the Christmas period. It is one of an order for 17 E12 zero-emission buses delivered to the company.

The vehicles will be utilised for Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport, serving the Terminal car parks as well as providing transport for Heathrow staff. Fitted with dual doors and luggage racks, the vehicle specification is designed to be customer centric, with full electric air-conditioning, high-backed seats and LED lighting.

Pelican delivered the first Yutong coach into the UK in 2015. Since that delivery, the company has worked towards enhancing the product portfolio, and now offers two diesel and two electric coach offerings, as well as six electric bus models, including single-deck, double-deck and airport products.
