Xelabus offers vaccine travel help

Hamphire-based bus company, Xelabus is rolling out a new initiative and reaching out far and wide to Housing Associations, Sheltered housing schemes and high risk vulnerable citizens who will struggle to get to their doctors surgery or vaccination hub. The bus company are urging leaders within these groups to get in touch and where possible Xelabus will provide free of charge transport to the vaccination points.

Managing Director of Xelabus, Gareth Blair, said: “We feel this is a way we can give something back to the community in which we serve. We all want to get back to a form of normality and as such if this helps us all reach that goal then all the better.

“Groups need to be of a minimum of eight passengers that can be socially distanced on the buses. Full bus travel guidelines can be found on our buses along with hand sanitiser stations.”
