Woods Travel Celebrate 45 years of business

Over 400 people, including customers past and present, attended a celebratory event at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground, to mark Woods Travel’s 45th anniversary.

The grand open day offered visitors a chance to view the history of the family run, Bognor Regis based coach operator, with an exhibition held within a marquee. Guests also enjoyed a 20/20 cricket match, jazz band, ice cream and owl display, whilst the Main Hall provided the opportunity for a number of Woods’ travel partners to exhibit. A raffle raised £750 for the RNLI.

Their VDL Futura 2 named Coachy McCoachface was on display and the company ran a shuttle service from neighbouring Arundel and the surrounding area to transport guests.

Managing Director of Woods Travel Ltd, Roger Elsmere thanked all involved for making the open day a success and added, ‘thank you to our wonderful, loyal customers, those who attended our event, and all those who have used our services over the years. It is because of them that our grand celebration was possible.’
