Women in Bus and Coach announce awards
Women in Bus and Coach has announced its inaugural awards ceremony.
The event is planned to be held as part of its annual summit in Manchester this October. This event aims to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements of women within the bus, coach and community transport industry.
The awards ceremony will feature four categories:
- Best Woman in Bus sponsored by Backhouse Jones Solicitors: This award honours a woman who has demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, and dedication within the bus sector.
- Best Woman in Coach sponsored by IntSol Recruitment: This category celebrates a woman who has demonstrated outstanding achievements and contributions to the coach industry.
- Best Woman in Community Transport sponsored by Dawsongroup bus and coach: This award recognises a woman who has made significant impacts and shown unwavering commitment to community transport services.
- The Peter, Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill Best Ally Award sponsored by the Go-Ahead Group: This award acknowledges an individual who has been an outstanding ally in supporting and advocating for women within the bus, coach, and community transport sectors.
In addition to these four awards, one exceptional winner will be chosen to receive the Woman of the Year title sponsored by MCV Bus and Coach, representing the highest Women in Bus and Coach honour.
