Wilson’s order StreetLites

Wilson’s of Rhu in Scotland has ordered two new Wrightbus StreetLites. They are set for use on commercial routes around Helensburgh and the surrounding areas in Argyll. Sourced with the assistance of Transport for Scotland’s Green Bus Fund initiative, they are 8.8m and 9.5m in length and both feature the Cummins Euro5 engine and Wrightbus’ Micro Hybrid technology. Both StreetLites are due to be delivered in May and include the latest electronic destination and travel information displays. This is the first time the operator has purchased vehicles from Wrightbus.

Alistair Wilson of Wilson’s of Rhu, said, ‘We’ve heard great things about the Wrightbus StreetLite and our purchasing decision was mainly due to its highly rated fuel consumption performance and reliability record. We’re looking forward to taking delivery and having them going into operation in late spring this year.’
