Whippet partners with company for electronic device recycling

Cambridgeshire-based Whippet is partnering with Ready Set Recycle to solve the issue of unclaimed electronic devices.

The operator is working with the company to safely and securely recycle unclaimed electronic devices left on its network.

Whippet holds all lost property for at least three months before typically donating or recycling them. The operator says a surprising number of these lost devices remain unclaimed, and their disposal poses environmental and data privacy issues, which is why it has partnered with Ready Set Recycle.
