Wattsway snaps up show Yutong GTe14

Pelican Bus and Coach, which had one of the biggest stands at Euro Bus Expo, has sold the Yutong GTe14 tri-axle electric coach on the stand.

The ‘dealer white’ coach will be going to electric coach pioneer Wattsway, which changed tack from it’s original buying plans at the show, said UK Coach Sales Manager, Simon Collins, and will also get a 42kW charger. Additionally, the Castleford-based company took orders for three of its all-new – and as yet unseen – GT14 tri-axle, and another for the established TC9 midicoach.

The stand, said Simon, was eight months in the planning: “We didn’t just beam it down here,” he joked. It features a huge video wall on a circular, central feature. “We’ve had another fantastic year and want to give full support to the only UK trade show,” said Simon.
