Warwickshire Travel lifts with Stertil-Koni

Warwickshire Travel has chosen Stertil-Koni’s mobile column lifts to streamline its outdoor maintenance operations.

Based in Princethorpe, Warwickshire, the company operates a fleet of coaches, buses and minibuses. Due to height restrictions within its workshop, the operator carries out essential maintenance outdoors. To support these operations, Stertil-Koni supplied cabled mobile column lifts with specialised protective covers, designed to perform reliably in challenging outdoor environments.

The supplied lifts consist of four Stertil-Koni ST1075FSA mobile columns, each capable of lifting 7.5 tonnes for a combined lifting capacity of 30 tonnes. They feature the ebright Smart Control System, which allows engineers to operate the lifts individually or in unison via touch screen consoles.

Each column has an independent mechanical locking system to securely hold vehicles in place and a microprocessor-controlled synchronisation feature designed to ensure smooth, precise lifting. They can lift a vehicle up to a height of 1.85m in 75 seconds.

The cabled lifts are powered by a standard 415V supply and equipped with heavy-duty communication cables. Additionally, Stertil-Koni’s maintenance-free synthetic runner wheels and hydraulic pallet truck mechanism make the columns easy to manoeuvre and maintain.

For Warwickshire Travel, the specialised covers on the lifts offer protection against the elements and helps ensure a reliable performance during regular outdoor servicing operations.
