Warrington’s Own Buses promotes Andy Rigby to Head of Commercial
Warrington’s Own Buses has promoted Andy Rigby to Head of Commercial.
Andy began started his transportation career at the age of 16 as a cleaner at Hiltons Travel while still in school. While studying at Liverpool John Moores University, he worked part-time as an Operations Assistant at Eavesway Travel. After graduating, he became Operations Manager, handling various tasks like overseeing coach operations and managing cruise ship logistics.
In 2016, Andy took on a new challenge at Tyrers, managing their operations at the Farnworth depot, focusing on school bus services. In 2022, he joined Warrington’s Own Buses as Project Manager, successfully leading the depot’s relocation to its new depot. He then served as Head of Facilities, ensuring the safety and efficiency of the depot.
Now, as Head of Commercial, Andy will be responsible for driving commercial strategies, building partnerships, and improving customer experience.
