VIDEO: Bus versus bike in busway battle

Grant Palmer is celebrating over ten years of operating on the Luton Dunstable busway with a new promotional video.

The film was made using BSIP funding from Central Bedfordshire Council. It highlights the speed and convenience of the Luton and Dunstable guided busway.

The video sees Steve Parrish former professional motorcycle and truck racer and motorsport television commentator take on Graham Storey, one of Grant Palmer’s most experienced and professional drivers, in a race between Dunstable and Luton.

Steve battles the traffic using his classic three-wheeler while Graham stays in the dry and on the guided busway. To Steve’s disbelief, the bus arrives well before Steve and his passenger Olive, who get stuck in Luton’s notorious traffic delays. Graham has plenty of time for a coffee while he waits in the dry.

Grant Palmer released another promotional video in December, promoting its services over the festive period.
