VDL defends against cyber-attack

VDL Bus and Coach‘s parent company, VDL Groep, has been hit by a cyber-attack.

A statement on the company’s website said: “For security reasons, immediately after the attack, we disconnected and isolated all our systems from the outside world, to contain the attack and to protect customers, suppliers, other partners and employees.

“In the interest of the investigation of this cyber-attack we are unable to make any further announcements at this time. We ask for your understanding. All the supportive responses and assistance from home and abroad are heart warming, thank you very much.”
