UrbanThings to present on attracting passengers with tech

UrbanThings and Paragon ID is returning to the Smart Transport Forum in Liverpool (26 and 27 September).

The transport technology specialist’s Head of Bids and Partnerships, Guy Sutherland, is to tell the audience at the event how technology can be used to increase patronage and attract new passengers. Guy will discuss the technology tools available to delight passengers, including journey planning, real-time information, mobile ticketing, ITSO smartcards and cEMV technologies. Powering more than 130 million passenger journeys a year, UrbanHub is the smart transport platform that has been deployed to customers across the UK, Europe and North America.

Additionally, Adam Toone, UrbanThings’ new COO who joined from Arriva, will be on the company’s stand during the event, held at the Liverpool Maritime Museum.
