Unwin/Autoadapt joint venture

Somerset based wheelchair restraint specialist, Unwin Safety Systems, has formed a joint venture with Autoadapt AB, which has purchased a 50% equity stake in CN Unwin Ltd. The Swedish company’s product portfolio, which includes the Braun lift range, is seen as being complementary to Unwin’s flooring systems, wheelchair restraints and seat fixtures. The partnership was described as a long term, permanent commitment. No changes are expected to Unwin’s current trading arrangements, but in the future customers will be able to purchase its products through its new partner’s dealership network.
