Ultimate Heritage Bus Company closes

Hartlepool-based Ultimate Heritage Bus Company has announced its closure. The business provided heritage vehicles for private hire, which has dried up since the coronavirus outbreak.

A statement on its Facebook page said: “It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce the forthcoming closure of this business.
“This has come about as the result of the COVID-19 outbreak which has totally destroyed our business this year and when you have no income and regular expenses going out. Something has to give and sadly it’s the business.
“When also taking into account the fact that we as a small limited company have fallen through the gaps between all the government schemes to help businesses during this time we have not been able to survive.”
