UKCOA issues new year resolution
Trade body UKCOA has looked back at 2023 and issued its resolutions for the new year.
“The UKCOA will continue to support its members with those issues that are important to them” – Peter Bradley, Managing Director at UKCOA
Peter Bradley, Managing Director at UKCOA, said: “It has been good to see that most coach operators have had a good year trading-wise in 2023 and we hope that trend remains in 2024. The UKCOA will continue to support its members with those issues that are important to them, such as the road to zero emission, the recruitment and retention of drivers (and drivers hours), encouraging women to join the coach industry, Home to School transport and the outcome of the various Calls For Evidence including PSVAR.
“We will continue to encourage coach operators who do not yet belong to a trade body, to consider joining one, with all the benefits that it brings. And finally we will be working alongside the industry to change the thinking in the importance of wearing seatbelts, where they are fitted, to save lives.”
