‘Tremendous Tuesday’

National Express has entitled the first Tuesday in December as ‘Tremendous Tuesday’. Company data reveals the date is the busiest for online sales as customers book Christmas travel. The operator is running services throughout the Christmas period, including some on Christmas Day, and advanced bookings for services on airport routes over the festive period (24 December to 1 January) have increased by around a quarter year-on-year. The most popular destinations according to advance ticket sales are: London, Heathrow Airport, Stansted Airport, Birmingham, Bristol, Gatwick Airport, Leeds, Portsmouth Port, Manchester and Bournemouth.
