Transdev works with York Pride

Transdev is to work in partnership with York Pride for an LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) celebration in the city on 20 June. The company has agreed to be a sponsor of the annual event and will provide an open top electric City Sightseeing bus to lead the parade around the city. It will also run extra buses for the event. Two dedicated late night Coastliner journeys will run departing York city centre at midnight to Leeds and Malton on the night of York Pride. Each of the company’s 21 strong Yorkshire Coastliner fleet will be decorated with York Pride messages.

Transdev will decorate their City Sightseeing fleet with rainbow bunting. A rainbow flag will fly at Transdev’s Hospital Fields base and their Stonebow office will turn its windows into a rainbow above the city. Additionally, York Pride wristband holders will get 25% of York City Sightseeing tours and get free use of the Unibus on the day of York Pride (20 June).
