Tourliner trio for Maynes Coaches
Maynes Coaches, based in Buckie, Banffshire Scotland, has taken delivery of three new MAN Neoplan Tourliners.
Joining the fleet are two new 12.1m Neoplan Tourliner P21s and a new 13.9m tri-axle Tourliner P22. Each of the new vehicles comes fitted with Kiel slide-out passenger seats in fabric and leather with fold-down armrests, tables and footrests, they are capable of carrying 49 and 61 passengers respectively, plus the driver and a courier.
Both the P21 and P22 are powered by MAN’s D2676 12.4 litre engine, with the P21’s at 430hp with a ZF EcoLife automatic gearbox. The larger P22 is rated at 480hp and is matched to a ZF Traxon 12-speed gearbox.
The new Tourliners come equipped with MAN Efficient Roll and MAN Efficient Cruise, as well as EBA and MAN’s Lane Guard System, featuring a vibrating driver’s seat.

The vehicles have extensive customer comforts, including USBs to all seats, seat-back tables, a freshwater centre toilet, climate control air-conditioning, drinks machine, fridge, kitchenette with 40 cup coffee machine, water heater and sausage boiler, DVD with multiple screens, tinted side windows, Valeo 33kw air-conditioning plus Eberspacher pre-heaters and carpets and curtains throughout.
Maynes Coaches new MAN NEOPLAN Tourliners are all supported by a four year MAN Warranty Plus package, this includes a three year 300,000km comprehensive warranty, plus a fourth year 400,000km driveline warranty including all oil service parts and labour, valve clearance adjustments. MAN Truck & Bus franchised partners Elgin Truck and Van Centre will service and maintain the new vehicles.
