Tourliner trio for City Circle

City Circle has added three 13.2m Neoplan Tourliners to its fleet. They are in service under contract to tour company, Globus. The operator is considered the UK’s largest operator of Tourliners, with 50% of its fleet consisting of these vehicles. These latest additions are fitted with MAN D26 CommonRail (D2676 LOH 27) EEV Turbo charged six-cylinder engines matched to ZF 12-speed AS-Tronic gearboxes. Specifications on each include ESP, disc brakes, a reversing camera, 53 Kiel advance 1020 Top Flair seats, a centre sunken toilet, a dash mounted fridge, a Spheros Thermo 350 coolant pre-heater, a centre sunken toilet and a Blaupunkt entertainment package.

City Circle MD, Neil Pegg, said, ‘We remain very happy with the quality and reliability of the Tourliner product. Neoplan’s four year full manufacturer’s warranty provides an added financial attraction and, with positive feedback from passengers, it makes the whole package difficult to beat. We now have 24 three-axle and seven two-axle Tourliners in our fleet and the possibility exists for Neoplan to feature even more prominently in the future.’

MAN Truck and Bus Ltd supplied the vehicles.
