TM Travel improves Peak Line 218

Sheffield based TM Travel has unveiled its improved Peak Line 218 between Sheffield, Baslow, Bakewell and Chatsworth. The new timetable has faster journey times and there are twice as many buses on the route, providing a bus every 30 minutes on Mondays to Fridays and every hour on Sundays. To promote the enhancement, 218 Bakewell Puddings were handed out to members of the public in Sheffield city centre. Peak Line 218 will also benefit from refurbished buses featuring free Wi-Fi and USB charging points.

TM Travel’s Service Performance Manager, Ben Mansfield, said, ‘The Peak District offers some of the country’s finest scenery and most interesting places to visit, right on the city’s door step. Our new improved Peak Line 218 makes it much easier for city residents and visitors to get out and about.’
