Thomas of Rhondda adds Irizar i6S

Porth-based Thomas of Rhondda has taken delivery of an Irizar Integral i6S luxury touring coach.

The 14m Integral i6S features a DAF MX-13 355 483hp engine, driving through the ZF TraXon automated manual gearbox. Each of the 57 passenger seats is fitted with magazine nets, multi-position footrests and seat-back tables. Other onboard amenities include USB charging points through the coach, a washroom located in the central stairwell and an onboard drinks machine. Leather driver and courier seats have been chosen for additional comfort and durability.

Onboard entertainment is provided via the Bosch Smart Series audio-visual system with a front monitor and two tilt-down monitors in the aisle.

The vehicle is compliant with PSVAR standards, featuring destination signage provided by Hanover Displays. The Masat semi-automatic wheelchair lift is located above the rear axle of the coach, maximising luggage space.
