The Coach Travel Group orders 42 Scania Tourings

The Coach Travel Group announced at Euro Bus Expo that it has ordered 42 Scania Tourings.

The Tourings to be delivered to the coach Group are to be PSVAR compliant and are to feature the usual array of safety features available on the model, including automatic emergency braking (AEB), adaptive cruise control, lane keep assistance, blindspot warning, electropneumatic parking brake, vulnerable road user collision warning system and underrun protection.

Formed in June 2024, The Coach Travel Group has approximately 700 employees and 450 vehicles in its fleet. The Group is the result of a strategic merger of Alpine Travel, Barnes Coaches, Coatham Coaches, JH Coaches, Johnsons Coaches, The Ready Group, Swans Travel and Whittles. Its focus is on leveraging the extensive experience and investment across the seven operators.
