Switch Mobility at COP26
Switch Mobility‘s buses will be at the COP26 United Nations Climate Change Conference.
Vehicles from the Hinduja Group-owned manufacturer will be running Glasgow’s bus route 398 in collaboration with Abellio and ScotRail for the duration of COP. Switch Mobility will also be displaying at the Green Zone Electric Vehicle Exhibition, showcasing its zero-emission, electric double-decker Metrodecker ‘learning Bus’ on-site throughout COP, with both interior decks opened and accessible to journalists and the public.
Representatives from Switch Mobility will also be speaking at the event’s Global e-Mobility Forum on the first day, RouteZero on the ninth day and the Blue Zone on Transport Day (tenth day). The speakers are CEO and Executive Vice Chairman, Dr. Andy Palmer and President and CPO, and CEO of Ohm Global Mobility, Sarwant Singh.
Switch Mobility incorporates the bus manufacturing operations of Optare, focusing on electric bus production. It also focuses on building other commercial vehicles, such as vans.
