Swallow ceases trading

Essex-based Swallow Coach Company has passed into administrators’ hands.

A statement on the company’s website said: “It is with great sadness that I am to advise you that the Swallow Coach
Company will be passed to administrators after the close of business on
Tuesday 31st March, 2020.

“The last day of operation on our contracted services 13, 61 and 133 will be
the same date. For updates on these routes please contact Essex County Council Passenger Transport Team. 

“This decision was not taken lightly, however given the current situation with
Coronavirus and the renewal of our insurances due on 1st April, we feel that
the decision to cease trading has been made for us.”
