Stagecoach’s charity mobile give away

Stagecoach Yorkshire is helping local charities by donating unwanted mobile devices left on its buses. The company has linked up with CMR Recycling to ensure all unclaimed mobile devices, such as phones, iPads and laptops, left on its fleet of buses are turned into cash for local good causes. Devices that remain unclaimed for more than three months will be wiped of all data by CMR Recycling who will recycle or send them for secure disposal. The recycling company will then make a donation for each device to the Stagecoach Yorkshire depot’s preferred charity. The Barnsley depot has chosen Royston Animal Welfare to benefit, Chesterfield selected Ashgate Hospice, Holbrook’s donation will go to Weston Park Hospital, while both Ecclesfield and Rawmarsh depots selected Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
