Stagecoach’s £3.5m Tees Valley Enviro300s

Stagecoach North East has launched 25 ADL Enviro300s, representing an investment of £3.5m. The operator has branded the vehicles with artwork and designs to illustrate the comfort, technology, efficiency and green credentials of the new fleet. The wi-fi enabled buses were displayed on Stockton High Street, where staff gave advice to customers, as well as handing out new timetables and maps with information on new evening and Sunday services and improvements to routes.

MD of Stagecoach North East, Phil Medlicott, said, ‘It was great to see so many people brave the rain to come and meet with us at our road show in the High Street. We continually look towards enhancing our fleet and we hope the investment will significantly improve the travel experience we offer our customers across the Tees Valley. The fact that 91% of Stagecoach North East’s bus passengers are satisfied with their overall service is a great endorsement of the commitment of our people and our strong partnership with our local authorities. Buses are critical to communities and our economy and provide vital public transport links across the Tees Valley region.’
