Stagecoach takes business community ‘Behind the Buses’
Stagecoach East is continuing its ‘Behind the Buses’ campaign by giving members of the local business community a tour of its depot.
The event, run by Stagecoach East in association with Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, was aimed at giving a better understanding of not only the role that public transport plays within our community, but also the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep a modern transport fleet running.
The day included a tour of Engineering, Stores, and Control facilities, as well as showing the infrastructure needed to charge an electric bus and provided the opportunity to meet the team that keeps it on the road.
The Behind the Buses campaign was started last year and has seen Stagecoach East give local councillors and business people a tour of its depots and an explanation of the work that goes into running the fleet.
