Stagecoach South gets new Commercial Manager

Stagecoach South has appointed George Cooper as its new Commercial Manager.

George’s career in transport began during his university years, working part-time as a bus driver, ticket seller, and coach driver. In 2017, he joined a graduate scheme with a major transport operator, which took him to Dublin, where he progressed to the role of Commercial Manager. Following this, he took on a new challenge as a Product Manager for a Performance Optimisation Platform, helping to tackle industry challenges through data-driven solutions.

Despite his success in the digital space, George was drawn back to the hands-on aspect of the bus industry, leading him to Stagecoach South. A native of Eastleigh, he has a deep understanding of the local transport network, having used Stagecoach South’s services frequently while growing up.
