Stagecoach rolling out 22 Enviro400s on Coastliner

Stagecoach will this week start to introduce a fleet of 22 new AD Enviro400s on the popular Coastliner 700 that connects the Hampshire and West Sussex Coast.

This £5.3m investment represents the largest fleet of new vehicles introduced by the company since the pandemic.

The route serves Portsmouth, Havant, Emsworth, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Yapton and Littlehampton.

The double-deckers feature USB charging ports at seats, plus audio and visual next-stop announcements.

The new buses follow a recent enhancement to the Coastliner 700 bus timetable, which was introduced from 2 April. These service improvements saw buses between Chichester and Bognor Regis running every ten minutes, with buses every 20 minutes between Portsmouth and Chichester as well as between Chichester, Yapton and Littlehampton.
