Stagecoach invests £1.5m in Enviro200s

Stagecoach has launched 13 new ADL Enviro200s in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire, representing an investment of £1.5m. Nine are for use on a range of routes in Chesterfield and the remaining four will operate on the 123 service in Sheffield, which runs between Crystal Peaks and the city centre via Woodhouse and Manor Top.

MD, Stagecoach Yorkshire, Paul Lynch, said, ‘Putting customers first is our priority and this latest investment demonstrates our commitment to consistently improve the comfort and reliability of services for the benefit of our customers. All the new buses are fully accessible to elderly passengers, people with disabilities and families with young children. They also meet tough emissions standards, which mean they are better for the local environment. We are continually investing in our network and aim to provide our valued customers with the very best level of affordable, reliable, environmentally friendly and safe bus travel.’
