Stagecoach donates £100,000 to Age UK
Stagecoach has donated £100,000 of its profits to charity Age UK. The operator pledged to donate up to 0.5% of profits each year to charitable causes across the UK.
The donation from Stagecoach will help Age UK continue to provide practical support to older people to help change the way we age today and in the future. Age UK has a free national Advice Line, Telephone Friendship Service and The Silver Line Helpline that people can call free of charge for advice, support and friendship. Over 120 local Age UKs also provide front-line support in communities across the country.
