South East Bus Fest returns
Arrangements for next year’s South East Bus Festival at Kent Showground are well underway. The annual event includes a large gathering of old and new buses and coaches, free bus rides around the showground, sales stands and model displays undercover in one of the huge exhibition halls, as well as talks by guest speakers and slide shows. The bus related activities will take place alongside the showground’s own Heritage Transport Show that brings together around 400 cars, commercials, tractors and motorbikes. This year, the organisers would particularly like to receive entries from former Southdown vehicles to mark the centenary of the company’s inauguration. It takes place on 28 March 2015.
