Souter orders 30 Van Hools for PolskiBus

Stagecoach founder, Sir Brian Souter, is expanding his PolskiBus.com operation in Poland with a £10m investment, which will create 160 new jobs. He has invested in 30 new Van Hool TDX27 Astromegas for the operation, as well as creating a second hub in Wroclaw and the introduction of four new routes. This latest development will take the number of new coaches ordered by PolskiBus.com in 2013 to 75. The new services will connect Wroclaw with Bydgoszcz, Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Opole, Poznan, Rzeszow and Zakopane, as well as Berlin and Prague. Existing services to Lodz, Warsaw and Prague will also be enhanced with increased frequency. Many of the new services will benefit from free on board catering and refreshments. Fares on PolskiBus.com’s intercity express coach services start at one zloty plus a one zloty booking fee with no hidden luggage charges, free Wi-Fi access and in-seat electric charging points. The new hub will offer 40 services a day and will create over 160 new jobs. Since its launch in June 2011, PolskiBus.com has generated more than 500 new jobs across Poland.
