Scania appoints new Fleet Sales Manager
James Thorley has been promoted to UK Bus & Coach Fleet Sales Manager at Scania UK.
In his new role, James will be responsible for leading the fleet sales team, building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and partnerships with fleet bus and coach operators. He comes with a wealth of experience having spent more than 19 years in the PCV industry after starting his career at MAN as a Regional Sales Executive.
In 2015, he joined Scania UK as Bus & Coach Fleet Sales Manager, where he has nurtured and built relationships with operators, mainly in the south of the UK.

He succeeds Mark Oliver, who was promoted to Power Solutions, Bus & Coach Sales Director in May 2022. Mark said: “We are pleased to confirm that James will be Scania UK’s new Bus & Coach Sales Manager, responsible for all bus and coach fleet sales throughout the UK. He is a hugely experienced individual who will build on the solid foundations we already have.
