Roberts celebrates 20 years with Volvo B11R

As it marks its 20th year in business, Roberts Coaches of Hugglescote, Leicestershire, have taken delivery of a Volvo B11R with Jonckheere bodywork. The 12.6m coach has Volvo’s I-Shift transmission, 53 seats and an automatic function check system. Safety features include the EBS controlled disc brakes and a multiplexed electronics system. It is in addition to a similarly specified vehicle delivered in 2014.

MD for Roberts Coaches, Jonathan Hunt, said, ‘We’ve been extremely impressed with the fuel consumption and performance of our B11R and particularly like the look of the Jonckheere bodywork. It has proved popular with our drivers and passengers alike and when we decided that we needed another 53 seat touring coach, we had no hesitation in going for another Volvo vehicle of the same specification to meet our needs.’
