Ridleys celebrates 15 years

Warwick-based Ridleys Coaches is celebrating 15 years in business.

The team at the operator put a post up on Facebook, which said that the company has grown from one coach to 50 since day one, employing over 100 people.

MD at Ridleys Coaches, Jordan Ridley, told B&CB: “To be honest 15 years has flown by, it didn’t register with me until I saw the Facebook post that my team put up. We have certainly come a long way since 2009 with our one Jonckheere, which we still have in service with us.”

According to Jordan, the biggest challenge for the operator was Covid. He said: “But once we got our heads round it and sorted the financial implications that it caused, we adapted, and we have come back so much stronger. We have newer vehicles, better work and a stronger team.”

Reflecting on the milestone, Jordan said: “I’m not a person that looks at something and says I’m proud but I have a drive to be a leading operator with the best team and vehicles around me and continue to provide the best for my wife and kids.”
