RHA’s National Coach Week returning

RHA‘s National Coach Week is returning this year, taking place from 12 to 19 May.

The event celebrates the role of coaches in public transport and the wider economy. This year, the focus will be on engaging with political figures to gain support to help promote coaches, establish the different needs of the coach industry to the bus industry and attract support for key policy priorities.

Activities during the week will include launching a coach manifesto, setting out the top priorities for the coach industry which will be promoted to complement the trade body’s latest coach policy paper.

On 15 May, RHA is to launch its list of policy priorities as part of a roundtable discussion to be held in Parliament, inviting coach operators and politicians with an interest in this space.

The RHA will also be engaging with MPs offices, asking them to visit their local coach operator. It will be encouraging operators to contact their MPs to support the week by using a template letter.
