Red Express launched

Lancashire United has launched Red Express, the new brand for its X41 route between Blackburn, Accrington, Haslingden and Manchester. Operating every 30 minutes, the buses on the route have been given a new look and now feature Wi-Fi, USB power points and coach style leather seats.

Transdev’s CEO, Alex Hornby, said, ‘The new look Red Express is further evidence of our plans to revitalise local bus travel and enhance our customers’ journey experience. We have put in serious effort to make the buses used great places to be, being high-specified with a range of creature comforts to make travelling a pleasure. Research also tells us that customers like being greeted by a friendly face, so we have focused a dedicated team of drivers on the Red Express taking them on their fast journeys between Blackburn, Accrington and Manchester. It’s the ideal way for Lancashire to connect to the big city.’
