Reading’s ADLs for Green Line are 11.5m first

Alexander Dennis (ADL) is to supply the first 11.5m versions of its Enviro400 with City-style bodywork.

Reading Buses is ordering seven of the double-deckers for use on its Green Line 702 and 703 services to London and Heathrow Airport. They will feature a glazed staircase, skylights, air chill, wood effect flooring, high-back seats with USB and wireless charging, social seating areas and LED mood lighting.

Five of the seven buses will have space to accommodate two wheelchair users, while the other two will have an additional luggage rack for airport journeys. Both versions will have a total of 76 seats.

    Quite an investment. This would seem to show that the services were able to be rebuilt after First were ready to abandon them. Great rescue by RB. Every success to them.
