Reading Buses gives CitySwift green light after trial

Transport software specialist CitySwift has announced the ongoing supply of its systems to Reading Buses, following a successful trial. The operator’s strong year-over-year performance, which saw increased bus punctuality and growth in passenger usage, has led to the rollout of the platform to its entire commercial network.

Since implementing CitySwift performance optimisation platform in 2023, Reading Buses has seen improvements of 9.1% and 14.2% in punctuality on two of the trial corridors. In addition to the improved punctuality and passenger experience, CitySwift’s platform increases team productivity with rapid access to insights that support timetable improvements allowing more services to be reviewed at once.
