Rambler acquires Mortons, with more acquisitions planned
Rambler Group Holdings has purchased Mortons Travel from National Express for an undisclosed sum.
Additionally, Rambler Group Holdings’ CEO, Qasim Ahmed, told Bus and Coach Buyer that two more acquisitions by the Group are planned. The deal is currently due to go ahead by the end of the year and will see an additional 110 vehicles join the group.
The deal for Mortons completed today (3 September 2024) and safeguards all 35 roles, including driver roles connected with the Basingstoke-based business.
All existing booked orders and work is planned to continue as usual and customers are due to be contacted directly to confirm their bookings remain in place.
Established in 2004 and based in North Hampshire, Mortons Travel is renowned for reliable and safe school services. The new school year services will run as planned.
