Police investigating Harmony Coaches case
After cancelling tours and leaving customers out of money, the police are now investigating Harmony Coach Holidays. Police Scotland is enquiring after receiving a report of suspected fraud in relation to the company.
The Hamilton-based tour operator had taken deposits and full payments before sending the news that holidays had been cancelled. Refunds have not been forthcoming, according to press reports.
Commenting in relation to Harmony Coach Holidays, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We have received a report of a suspected fraud and enquiries to establish any criminality are at an early stage.”
No operator’s licence is listed under the name Harmony Coach Holidays, which was incorporated on 4 June 2020. It is understood the company hired in coaches operated by Scottish operators to run tours.
