Pelican to bring Yutong to the UK

Pelican Engineering Group of Castleford, West Yorkshire, has been appointed as the importer for the UK and Eire of Yutong of Zhengzhou, China. Known as the world’s largest bus and coach manufacturer, the Chinese company produced in excess of 51,000 PCVs in 2012, an increase of 10.71% on the previous year. A similar increase is expected in the current year.

Pelican already supports the BMC range of buses and coaches with parts and service throughout the UK. The agreement was signed by Mr Ken Grindrod, Pelican Engineering’s Sales Director, in Zhengzhou on 4 September 2013. A further detailed announcement is expected shortly.
