Designed and manufactured in the UK, Parksafe Group’s Low Bridge Detection System (LBDS) can detect up to 3,764 low bridges within the UK and is designed to prevent a significant issue for fleet operators. When coupled with GPS, LBDS issues the driver via LED-enhanced alerts and an audible warning system that automatically activates at least 300m away from a low bridge.
The hardware installed on the vehicle carries the database offline, so no data connection is required. It requires zero driver input, as the height and width of the vehicle is inputted at installation.
